who's getting served?
Audio sermon by Gordon D. Venturella | 10:37 min
TOPIC: Service
REFERENCES: Acts 15:19, 1 Corinthians 9
SERIES: The Church with an Attitude | Part 3
SUMMARY
Human nature has pretty consistently viewed servanthood as something that the powerless does for the powerful, that those without any power do for those with all the power. And whether you’re talking about the 1st century or the 21st century, power and importance has pretty much been determined by how many people you have serving you, how many people you have working for you, how many people you can snap your fingers and have do your bidding. The message of Jesus is just the opposite...the message of Jesus says the more mature you are the more you serve others.
