SUMMARY
Have you lost interest in life because you have lost your dreams about what you could do? As we get older our hopes and dreams of what we will do when we grow up begin to fade, begin to wash over us, and the sandpaper of life begins to sand off the rough edges. Without personal dreams about the future, we’re all dead. Work, for many people, can be a dream stealer. For others, work can become an idol, consuming every waking moment and then some, so much so that people’s identity gets caught up in their work and in their title and how much money they make.

Attitude about work from God’s perspective:
1. Work needs to be worked out with fear and trembling. Work becomes a faith adventure.
2. Work needs to be worked out with the freedom to fail.
3. Work needs to be worked out as my service to God.

Work is sometimes good and sometimes not so good. In this life, work is never over, so we need to keep our eyes open and our attitudes sensitive and reverent toward that which God wants to accomplish in our life.
